The 112 Award 2017 is awarded to the parties who took part in the response to a tragic incident in which an infant fell into a hydroelectric power plant reservoir in Ragunda, Jämtland, on August 14, 2016. Thanks to a major rescue operation involving large parts of the emergency services, the child miraculously survived a fall of approximately 15 meters.
